“Despicable Me” was about all you could ask from a family film. It was smart, it was funny and most importantly it held the attention of both kids and adults. So I’m all in for “Despicable Me 2,” especially since it looks like they’ve found a reasonably believable plotline for a reformed supervillain.
This new trailer looks very promising, but I’m also a total sucker for both the minions and Steve Carell’s vaguely Eastern European accent.
